The V701T Surface-Mount Fiber-Optic Video Transmitter from Vicon is one component in the V700 Series Fiber-Optic Video Transmission System. This system consists of a transmitter and receiver designed to provide high-performance transmission of composite video up to 3.2 miles (5.2km) with 10MHz of bandwidth. This unit is a standalone transmitter.
This system is designed for used with 62.5-um cable and includes ST connectors. It also features a series of status-indicating LEDs. This transmitter features a bicolor LED that glows green if the input video signal has adequate sync signal strength or red if the sync is inadequate.
This unit, in conjunction with a standalone transmitter, can receive power from two optional power supplies, models VOPPS-120DC and VOPPS-220HDC. The manufacturer recommends that this unit be used with a professional optical cable or coaxial installation that meets the application requirements of your particular use.
