The V700T-R Rackmount Single-Channel Fiber-Optic Video Transmitter from Vicon is one component in the V700 Series Single-Channel Fiber-Optic Video Transmission System. This system consists of a transmitter and receiver designed to send (1) channel of composite video up to 3.2 miles (5.2km). This unit is a rackmount transmitter.
This system is designed for use with 62.5-um cable without any adjustments and can withstand an optical signal loss of up to 13 dB. This unit, in conjunction with a rackmount receiver, can be powered by the power supply built into the V515R-PS card cage or by the external V517E-PS if installed in the V517R-PS. The manufacturer recommends that this unit be used with a professional optical cable or coaxial installation that meets the application requirements of your particular use.
